This is a gem so rare it is almost mythical,  an 1800's  Pearisburg, VA- Bank Of Giles Commonwealth Bank.
This is a Proprietary Proof printed by the ABNCo from the original plates in the 20th century for general corporate purposes and programs. It was part of the American Paper Money Collection, sold by ABNCo on a subscription only basis in the 1980's-90's. The color of the tint is a little more vibrant red than the original red.
The note great visual appeal make it very popular with collectors.

This is a proof produced from the original plates by American Bank Note.
