1861 W. A. Britton Banking House Note
Printed on stock paper for New Oreleans, Louisiana but issued in Natchez as is overprinted on the note.
While notes from this issuer come up infrequently, denominated notes such as this example are absurdely rare. I found just one auction record for another example sold within the past 10 years.
The note is in heavily circulated condition, but remarkably is intact other than edge issues. The only other example i've seen was in comparable condition.
