    Description

    Here is a genuine 0 Confederate note Dated October 2nd 1862. Printed by J.T. Paterson in Columbia, South Carolina. Plate letters Ae. FINE+ condition. Serial # 58262 in red ink at each side.
    Fully intact despite showing signs of moderate to heavy circulation and the paper becoming limp. Dark printing with clear details remain. Nice signatures and numbering.
    Fully framed on the top and bottom but trimmed a bit tight at the side margins. Several scattered pinholes are noted. A few small margin nicks at the top but no major tears.
    The backside two interest paid stamps from Augusta, Georgia, dated 1864 and 1865.
    In addition, there are interest and/or purchase calculations which take up the left side. At the far left side in light pencil, are initials from an unknown Military or Civilian agent at the far left side.
    A 0 note with an interesting backside, that would have some stories to tell if it could speak. Your satisfaction is always guaranteed.
