    Description

    Printed by J.T. Paterson & Co. in Columbia, S.C. Dated September 12 1862. VERY FINE+ condition, if not better. Serial # 44623 in red ink at each side.
    Crisp paper with nice dark details. The central train scene is dark and vivid. NO tears or repairs. Nice signatures and numbering.
    Nearly fully framed with a portion another note seen at the lower right margin. Approx. 4 light vertical bends and a few light creases. No hard folds. A couple pinholes are noted as well as a few paper toning spots.
    The backside has an interest paid stamp from AUGUSTA, GA dated January 1st 1863.
    Most collectors would easily give this sharp looking note a "CHOICE" grade. Your satisfaction is always guaranteed.
