    This note from the American Civil War features a popular train Vignette at the center with white steam and smoke coming from it. On the lower left is a detailed Vignette of a milkmaid walking with a bucket on her head. These notes paid a 7.3% annual interest rate; double that of the First Series notes of Montgomery and Richmond.
    This Civil War era note grades Very Fine with stains and some nicks / tears on the right edge that have minor repairs.
