    Description

    This is a 0 Confederate States Bond # 9224 Second Series, authorized March 1, 1864. This hand signed 158 year old bond with its ornate design would make an impression on any Civil War buff.  It has  59 /60 attached coupons, each individually signed.
    The certificate with coupons measures 15.5" x 26".  It is beautifully framed and
    matted.   The wood frame measures about 21 inches by 32.5 inches in size.  It is double matted with a 1/4" black inner matte and a 1  1/2" gray outer matte.  It comes with a certificate of authenticity from the Heritage Rare Coin Galleries of Dallas, Texas.
    This Civil War Bond was purchased as a part of a fund raiser for our local PBS station a couple decades ago.
