This note from the American Civil War was printed on plain pink paper with no reverse design. It was considered too expensive to print backs on such low denomination notes that were rapidly losing value at that point in the war. At the center is a bust of Jefferson Davis, the President of the Confederacy.
This note grades Fine with large mounting stains on the reverse. It measures ~ 4.25" x 2.25".
