1935 SOUTH CAROLINA license plate — UNUSED NOS ORIGINAL vintage auto tag decor

Description

1935 SOUTH CAROLINA
passenger license plate. Steel plate uses a jet-black base with white embossed lettering. 100% original paint, with no touch-ups. Appears to be NEVER USED, as original wrapping paper is stuck to front (New Old Stock), but improperly stored.
Plate is STRAIGHT and lies FLAT, with no extra holes. Paint is STRONG, with
excellent gloss.
Some rust from improper storage, mostly on back, as shown, which has left the upper left rim rough, but metal and paint are absolutely SOLID. Rust on back especially could be cleaned up with the right solution if desired. Tag can easily be remounted on wall or other flat surface and still makes a great display.
