Original and wonderful, 1950's Independent Milwaukee Brewery Advertising Sign for "Braumeister Beer" featuring a portrait of a beautiful young woman wearing a bikini. This beautiful Braumeister Beer Advertising Sign measures approx. 14" by 18" and is printed on a heavy weight, paperboard stock. The Sign has been professionally framed for display in a simple, modern black lucite frame (overall size of framed display is 16 ¼ by 20 1/4”).
The Sign features a fantastic, photographic portrait of the beautiful young woman wearing a bikini and seated by the edge of a pool. Her legs are drawn up and she leans back supporting herself on her hands and stares skyward. Text in the image area of the Sign reads simply “Braumeister”. Text on the printed “frame” at the top of the Sign reads “Milwaukee’s Choicest Beer” and text on the printed “frame”: at the bottom of the Sign reads “Independent Milwaukee Brewery – Milwaukee, Wis U. S. A.”.
This outstanding, 1950’s Braumeister Beer Advertising Sign is in excellent condition. The colors are bright and vibrant and the Sign displays beautifully. There is no soiling or staining to the surface and the surface retains its original, brilliant surface shine. There is a TINY scuff mark on the woman’s cheek as can be seen in the scans below but otherwise there is no damage and no repairs of any kind!! The Sign is 100% original with no repairs, restoration or in-painting.
