    This is a 2017 Alaska Artistic license plate (never mounted on vehicle) It is the front plate and in Alaska the front plate does not have a sticker issued for them - only the back plate gets a sticker.  NORTHERN LIGHTS Theme .It is the 2nd release of the plate - the 2nd release was a lighter background because the black letters & numbers were hard to see because of the darker background.
