    Description

Type 16 Confederate currency note. From series printed in September of 1861 by Keatinge & Ball of Richmond , Va. One of the earliest CSA notes printed. This note is watermarked with the script lettering "CSA", as seen in the image holding the note up to the light. The note is not graded - you will need to be your own judge as to overall condition. Not in the best of shape - but it is all there.
