Ameike 1885 * Era & Vietnam War era Knife Camping Hobo Knife Pair

For sale is a pair of camping knifes.
The tan handle one is ameike with clover on blade dates from 1880 till 1900 (some say ) Others say Ike era. Knife  made in
Japan or China.  some online ligature said ameike  was a tribute to President Ike . Some are saying clover dates to pre 1900. Colector  knife books from 1970s claimed Ameike was in the  top 10 list of rare knife brands. One other ameike is priced at 5 on ebay .  Fairly rare knife either way.
This Ameike is in Good condition has patina from age.  Initially knife was at estate sale 1982, they was very old couple then. there a  collector bought it and 40vyears later sold it to me at his antique store.
Hartford sodak. It costed 5 to obtain plus tax.

Maybe never used otherwise, handles are very good. The fittings are original and very good.never sharpened or repaired.
