Antique Republic Period Century Woven Willow Chinese Rice Gathering Basket

Up for sale is a antique early 20th century hand made Woven willow with an Elm handle Chinese rice gathering basket. Stands about 25" X 16.5" X 15" It looks like the basket had some Chinese Yen coins to replace the flat revits that had probably fell off over the years. It sort gives it character. Basket is in good condition for it's age. One weave on the top edge of the basket has come apart. Minor wear for something that was probably used everyday. This a great piece of history and I'm really hope it finds a good home.
