British L1A4 Bayonet & Scabbard, Hopkinson Ltd., Sheffield, Rifle Bayo #1-3

Up for sale, a scarce early contract production British L1A4 bayonet with correct scabbard. This bayonet was made at the Hopkinson Ltd./Sheffield factory. It displays all the correct markings - a D58 on ricasso, a B with broad arrow proof on the guard, a B on the very end of the pommel, and S. M. H 9602370 on the grips. There isn’t  a serial number marked on this bayonet.
The condition ion this bayonet is nice. There isn’t any damage to blade or grips. The bayonet fit nicely in the scabbard. The blade release is tight and functions like it should. There is remaining Suncorite paint on blade and pommel. Scabbard is coated in the correct Suncorite paint as well. There is a broad arrow proof visible on scabbard.
