    PLEASE READ FULL DESCIPTION
Well used, but well taken care of.  Very nice piece of history. MIL-DTL-20277, 1219c2 Camillus Part Number 5684
Blade does show reprofiling, but is very sharp. No rust very clean, no pitting or chips in blade or edge.
Leather is in good shape with no wiggle or wobble to pommel and/or cross guard.
Handle has been cleaned, buffed and oiled as well. The blade has been sharpened using Arkansas whet stones and oiled.
Please note that the pommel was removed and reinstalled with the factory pin. The handle was a little loose when I got it. This was also done to clean any rust off of the tang. Any rust was removed and bare metal parts were blued.   The original leather stacks were reinstalled with glue between disks, then sanded a little before being buffed and oiled. Obenauf's leather oil and paste was used on all leather surfaces.
The swedge does not have an edge to it.
There was no coating on the handle(fungicide treatment) when I got it, so no I did not sand that off.
My guess is that the original color was Oxblood, due to the period of manufacture.
The sheath is solid, no rot. Leather has been oiled and is very pliable, not stiff. Sheath is not original to Knife, but matches up perfectly. Age for Age. I had the sheath in hand from a previous knife project.
It is made from thicker heavy duty leather, not like the newer factory sheaths you find out there.
Knife has been stored indoors in a temperature controlled environment. Knife has been stored outside of sheath, but will ship inside of sheath for safety.
Please ask questions if you have any of me.
