    Description

    The Cayman Islands 25 Dollars was issued in 1991 by the Cayman Islands Currency Board featuring Queen Elizabeth IIs new portrait on its obverse. Also displayed on the banknotes obverse are the Coat of Arms of the Cayman Islands and an open treasure chest. The reverse of the banknote shows a coral, a compass rose, and the map of the Cayman Islands. The 156 x 66 mm paper banknote bears a registration device in the form of a conch shell. It also has a solid security thread and a watermark that reflects a turtle. Furthermore, the banknote is printed by Thomas De La Rue and Company, Limited. This particular Cayman Islands 25 Dollars is in uncirculated condition and is TAP authenticated.
