COLT M7 (62316) w/ M8A1 Scabbard-Unissued (USA) 1963-64 (Viet Nam Era) CHROME!

SUPER RARE!
Never issued, never sharpened, never carried, never displayed, etc.  Original factory edge is intact.  M7 and sheath both have some dirt, grime, grease, etc., from long term military depot storage.  Please study the photos carefully.  They are an important part of the listing.  Colt only produced 30,000 M7s and only chrome plated a few hundred of them.  These were used as awards, for ceremonial units, color guards, etc.
Please note that there is some flaking of the chrome plating, mainly on the blade.  If that bothers you, you could have the M7 disassembled, stripped down, and re-chrome plated.  However, it makes a great collectible as is.
Colt only made 30,000 M7s in 1963-64.  That was when Colt made them, before the first M7 Government contract was awarded

These were used on rifles and on combat shotguns

This M7 is in excellent condition.  There is some flaking of the chrome plating.  It is 60 years old and is "Collector Quality."
