Description
This 1 Dollar banknote of the East Caribean States was issued in 1988. Issued by the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank with a pick number P-21u, the banknote features on its front side Queen Elizabeth II wearing the Grand Duchess Vladimirs tiara and the golden jubilee necklace of Queen Victoria. It also depicts a windsurfer, a conch shell, and the map of the Caribbeans that identifies the island of Anguilla. The reverse of the note displays a harbor landscape with flowers, ships, buildings, and palm trees. A swordfish is also visible on the bottom right. The 145 x 70 mm paper bill comes with a solid security thread with printed ECCB. It also has a watermark that reflects Queen Elizabeth II. This particular TAP authenticated banknote is in un uncirculated condition.
