Description
Are you looking for small crochet hooks for fine lace work? I have three styles of the hooks for you to chose from in various sizes. Please note that the sizes differ slightly among manufacturers, so please refer to the metric size for the absolute sizes. The smallest two are plain hooks are made for Lacis, with plastic sheath for the tips. SOLD OUT Made in Japan.
Compact/Pocket Handle in size 1.25mm (US size 10). These are the IMRA hook made by Prym in Germany. The hook is set into a short plastic handle (light blue in the picture), and has a large plastic cap (dark blue in the picture). When in use, the cap acts as an extended handle to the hook. When not in use, the cap protects the hook, and reduces the length to less than 4 inches. The small size and rounded ends makes it easy to stash into a pocket or purse to crochet on the go, without risking the sharp hook poking through.
Doubled ended Hamanaka hooks, with different sized hooks on each end. The middle cushioned handle has a curved side and a flat side for easy gripping. I have size 4/6 (1.0-1.25mm) and 8/10 (0.75mm and 0.9mm). The center is 2 inches (5.5mm) long, and the hooks are 1 3/4 inches (3.5mm) long each uncapped.
Clover Amour Steel Crochet Hook #10 (0.75mm), Rounded ergonomic handle, a protective metal sheath is included for the sharp tip. Made in Japan.
