    I Hand Crafted this Bocote Wood  Crochet Hook  L (8.00 mm) w/ Susan Bates Silvalume Tip and a Mother-of-Pearl finial inlay.
    This cut of
    Bocote  shows amazing character and figure. It is approximately 6 1/4" long each overall with the Bocote handle 3 3/4 " long and just over 3/4" in diameter at its widest. The Susan Bates Silvalume tip  extends  2 1/2" from the handle. This cut of Bocote is fabulous and has colors similar to  a tiger's coat.
    The black veining figure is breathtaking. I have the thumb rest beginning on the wood so it gently transitions to the metal thumb rest on the hook to provide a longer resting area for ease of use with more grip styles. The  finial is my signature natural iridescent Mother-of-Pearl inlay, in this case 1/2" in diamter.
    If you have arthritis or other hand issues you will appreciate the ease of use with my handcrafted handles
