    Description

Totem Pole (Sacred Protector) - The totem pole is a symbol of protection for many tribes of the Pacific Northwest. The Totems are carved with the images of animals, chosen for their unique spiritual powers and special skills. Totem Poles are erected to protect ancestors, the land and the tribe. The Poles are often topped with an Eagle to watch and protect, or a raven, to teach the powers of transformation. Bird spirits are believed to be creatures of both heaven and earth, performing their magic as they travel between the two worlds. This amulet is 1.75 inches long and .75 inches wide and made from lead-free pewter. The design is on both sides. It is strung on a black cord and centered with a silver bead. All are mounted on a card with the above description of the design. THIS PENDANT IS NOT MADE BY NATIVE AMERICANS.
