The Snake River Prototyping BlurFix3+ 55mm Filter Pack includes BlurFix3+ 55 adapter for the HERO3/3+/4 standard housing, 55mm SRP CP-MC Filter, 55mm Tiffen ND0.6 Filter, 55mm Tiffen ND0.9 Filter, 4 Filter carrying pouch. This combination pack has everything you need for reducing glare, over-exposure, the "jello" effect and prop blur in your videos. It is an ideal accessory for general aviation, motorsports, snow sports, paragliding and fishing.
BlurFix3+ 55 Adapter
The Snake River Prototyping BlurFix3+ 55 is best filter adapter for a GoPro camera yet! This 55mm filter adapter for the HERO3/3+/4 standard housing takes the best features of the BlurFix3 SO (slip-over adapter for the HERO3/HERO3+/4 dive housing) and the original BlurFix (for the Hero and HERO2 standard housing). The BlurFix3+ 55 combines the easy installation and removal features of a slip-over adapter with the ability to create a completely sealed space between the camera housing and the filter. The BlurFix3+ 55 can be used in below three configurations.
Unsealed Use
When used without one of the O-rings, the BlurFix3+ 55 acts as a "wet filter" adapter. Holes at the top and bottom of the filter easily allow the space between the filter and housing to flood. This configuration is commonly used during dives with a color-correction filter. It's also the easiest configuration to use on land when rain, mud or snow intrusion is not probable.
Sealed / Air Filled Use
In environments where rain, mud or snow may be forced between the filter and camera housing, the space between the housing and filter is best off sealed. And this is easy to do if using the correct size O-ring. Capturing air between the filter and adapter is the simplest approach in most environments.
Sealed / Liquid Filled Use
Trapping liquid between the filter and housing makes the adapter impossible to pull off since it is held on by hydraulics -- liquid does not compress under pressure. This configuration is excellent for surfers as water is readily available and fogging is not an issue in a fluid filled space.
55mm SRP Circular Polarizer
This multi-coated circular polarizer by SRP was specifically designed for use with SRP's BlurFix3 SO Naked and BlurFix3+ 55 filter adapters for the GoPro HERO3 and HERO3+ cameras. This filter features:
Ultra thin frame design to eliminate mechanical vignetting
Coatings applied to both sides of the filter to reduce reflections and lens flares
Black rimmed glass
Matte black super-fine frosted finish
Knurled filter ring and polarizer adjustment ring
Japan optics
A circular polarizer reduces glare on the surface of water or glass. It is a must have for fishing and water sport productions and in applications where a windshield is involved. In addition, a circular polarizer will increase the contrast in your videos and photographs. This filter is commonly used by areal sports enthusiasts to give clouds more definition and make the sky appear bluer. Snow-sport enthusiasts will find that a CP filter will increase the contrast between snow and sky.
55mm Tiffen ND0.6 Filter
This is intended for use with the BlurFix3 SO and BlurFix3+ 55 filter adapters. This filter is ultra low-profile to minimize or eliminate vignetting and is only available from SRP. A ND1.2 filter cuts all light by 93.75%. This forces the HERO3 or HERO3+ to slow its shutter speed. An ND filter is often used to reduce prop blur for general aviation videography and minimize the jello effect experienced in radio controlled and motor sport applications. Consider using this filter if you are filming the High vibration motorsports, Multi-rotor RC., General aviation sports.
55mm Tiffen ND0.9 Filter
This is intended for use with the BlurFix3 SO and BlurFix3+ 55 filter adapters. This filter is ultra low-profile to minimize or eliminate vignetting and is only available from SRP. A ND0.9 filter cuts all light by 87.5%. This forces the HERO3 or HERO3+ to slow its shutter speed. An ND filter is often used to reduce prop blur for general aviation videography and minimize the jello effect experienced in radio controlled and motor sport applications. Consider using this filter if you are filming the High vibration motorsports, Multi-rotor RC., General aviation sports.

Returns
For the first 30 days from date of receipt of your purchase you may return the merchandise for a full money back refund, excluding any shipping charges (for items which we offer free shipping, our standard shipping charges will be deducted from any refund or credit).
Returned or exchanged products must be in brand-new, mint condition. Items must be in the original, undamaged manufacturer's packaging with all packaging materials, including instruction booklets, packing inserts, and the blank warranty cards. Memory cards and any other Blister Pack items are not returnable once opened. Any merchandise missing the original Universal Product Code (UPC) cannot be returned. The manufacturer's labeled packaging must be enclosed within an additional shipping carton. Please do not place stickers or shipping labels on the original manufacturer's package.
Printers are not returnable once the Toner Cartridges have been installed or released.
Desktop Computers, Laptops, Tablets & Notebooks are not returnable once they have passwords or other software installed, have been registered with or returned to the manufacturer for any reason.
