Here is a very
HARD TO FIND
1991 South Carolina
(SC or S.C.) passenger license plate on the Wren base that was
struck
with its
number UPSIDE DOWN. Commonly called a FULL INVERT ERROR.
This is generally regarded as the most dramatic error that can occur in license plate production.
Condition is as shown in the image -- plate appears to have been used, surprisingly, based on wear and display of a month sticker. It has some bolt hole wear, quite a few dings/dents/light bends through the middle, a small number written in light marker below the words South Carolina (which may come off with some work - I lightened it some already) and does not lay completely flat.  Looks and displays great.  Perfect for a collection. Extremely rare plate to find available.
This plate style was issued in 1991 making it at least 28 years old. But you be the judge!  Check out the scans carefully since this is the actual plate you will receive.
