Offered from a local NJ estate is a cool antique store advertising display item:
a silverplate (quadruplate) PICTURE FRAME
Embossed all around the frame on scrolling banners is:
"SILVERPLATE WARES OF HIGHEST GRADE AND MOST ARTISTIC DESIGN
MADE BY JAMES W TUFTS BOSTON"
"Hard white metal with quadruplate of Silver
Satisfaction guaranteed in Every Particular"

and engraved on a plate and the bottom is : "C M ROHR"
(imagine this particular frame was displayed in their shop)
The frame itself is 9 3/4" by 7 3/4" with 7 x 5" opening
There are holes on side where is probably clipped into a swing stand and would have been a counter mirror
Fancy Art Nouveau or gothic scrolls around the edges complete the designs
There is wear to the highs spots or could be just patination and lots of surface scratches to this found object
