    Description

    The 1864 0 Confederate note was printed by Keating & Ball, Columbia, SC on white paper with varying shades or pink/red overprint, the reverse is printed in blue ink. The center vignette displays Lucy Pickens who was the wife of the Govornor of South Carolina. At left are figures representing the Military and at right is George Wythe Randolph, the Secretary of War. The note is payable two years after the ratification of a treaty of peace between the Confederate States and the United States.
