VITON o-rings
(Viton is much longer lasting than the OEM rubber o-rings which break down from contact with fuel & oil). One male coupler is barbed for a 6mm (1/4") fuel hose and the other male coupler is barbed for a 10mm (3/8") fuel hose (Supply fuel-hose and return fuel-hose are different sizes). The female/threaded couplers are listed as 1/4 BSPT. These couplers are made from the same manufacturer "CPC" which made the original OEM plastic connector.
PLEASE NOTE:
Some Daytonas use a 5/16" fuel return line instead of the more common 1/4" fuel return line. Please check your Daytona and if necessary include a message at checkout that you require the larger 5/16" coupler instead of the 1/4" coupler.
All OEM male couplers do not have the added internal safety shut-off valve that these have! These internal stainless steel safety valves will close off the flow of fuel when the couplers are disconnected. When connected, these internal valves will be pushed open, allowing fuel to flow across again.
The original plastic fuel line couplers are infamous to snapping off when moving the gas tank with the fuel lines attached. There are two male couplers on all of the Triumph fuel tanks. So if you still have the original plastic male couplers, here is your chance to easily get a superb quality *ALL-METAL* direct replacement
with proper
VITON o-rings
and the
internal safety shut-off valves
!
!
(You will ride and sleep much better knowing they have been replaced with metal ones)
Alternatively, you could go to the dealer and spend the + on getting another OEM plastic coupler, but they will snap again and again and eventually leak through the rubber o-ring unlike these that will last a lifetime!
My couplers directly replace the original plastic fuel line connector
(A.K.A quick connect / disconnect, dry break, coupler, coupling ) for the following models & years:

You will need (2) small hose clamps to secure the male couplers to their fuel line.
For any questions at all, please message me. I have used these myself and love them. I recommend putting RTV sealant on the threads to seal them when installing the female couplers, which also helps prevent the possibility of over-torquing the coupler in fear of a leak.
If you are having trouble removing a broken plastic coupler, trying using an "easy-out/screw extractor". You may have to cut down the screw extractor's tip to fit snugly, as the threaded hole on the fuel tank may be too shallow if the screw extractor is too small/long.
Have fun!
