(Viton is much longer lasting than rubber o-rings which break down from contact with fuel & oil). This coupler is made from the same manufacturer "CPC" which made the original OEM plastic connector.
The original plastic fuel line couplers are infamous to snapping off when moving the gas tank with the fuel lines attached. There are two female couplers on the Triumph fuel tanks. Some bikes take two of the THREADED style coupler and some bikes take one of the THREADED style AND one of the IN-LINE style, so be sure to purchase the other THREADED metal couplers and replace both female couplers (you will ride and sleep much better knowing that both have been replaced).
If you still have the original plastic couplers, here is your chance to easily get a superb quality *ALL-METAL* direct replacement with proper
VITON o-rings
and the
stainless steel internal safety shut-off valve

Alternatively, you could go to the dealer and spend the + on getting another OEM plastic coupler, but they will snap again and again and eventually leak through the rubber o-ring unlike these that will last a lifetime!
My couplers directly replace the original plastic fuel line connector
(A.K.A quick connect / disconnect, dry break, coupler, coupling).
You will need a small hose clamp to secure this coupler to the fuel line.
