GENIUNE U.S. MILITARY M7 BAYONET & M8A1 SCABBARD
Both bayonet and scabbard are
genuine and used
, but in good condition.
These are sold "as is". There might be some signs of rust, usage (chipped blade), and storage (dust) on both the bayonet and scabbard.
You will receive a set similar to the one shown in the pictures
The scabbard has 'M8A1' and 'PWH' marked on them
-The M8A1 scabbards were first introduced during WWII
-The 'PWH' stands for 'Pennsylvania Working Home'. This company took over production for the M8A1 scabbards during the mid-late 60s and many of these were sent out to foreign aid (Vietnam). These scabbards were made during that time.
The bayonets have 'US M7' and 'IMPERIAL' marked on them
-The M7 was first introduced in 1964
-The 'IMPERIAL' stands for Imperial Knife Co. (later turned Imperial Scharde Corp.). It is believed these were made towards the end of the Vietnam War and less than 450,000 were made.
PLEASE NOTE THESE DO NOT HAVE THE COLT STAMPS ON THE BLADE.
