    Description

    A genuine U.S. Military issue M5 bayonet knife you see pictured. Manufactured by the Aerial Cutlery Company, the guard sports the Boxed Eagle over 3 Stars DAS acceptance stamp on the guard signifying it was U.S. military issue. The guard has a little movement. The grips are nice with a few dings and scratches but no cracks.   The scabbard, a US contract M8-A1 made by PWH, shows wear  and some damage to the bottom at point area. The photos show the damage to the handle of the knife and also the sheath, so please look carefully to make sure of what you are purchasing, it looks like it has had a lot of action in it's history.
    It  weighs 13.5 ounces and is overall 11 1/8" long , the blade is 6 1/2" long.
