US Colt 62316 Bayonet Knife with USM8A1 German Mfr. Marked Scabbard
US Colt 62316 Bayonet Knife with USM8A1 German Mfr. Marked Scabbard. Clear markings on blade, -Colt 62316- etc. Parkerized blade has original configuration and point with factory edge. A lot of finish (50%) worn off of blade-see photos. Produced mid-1960s, scabbard is German manufactured on contract, & is marked 'Germany' & 'USM8A1'. Scabbard has no cracks or chips or scuffs. Keeper strap and snap works fine. Bayonet levers work fine too. Plastic grips are perfect. The metal throat of scabbard on backside is slightly different than the US mfr scabbards. This scabbard is in minty condition. Study all photos carefully- read description well- located in USA. . postage.
