US Combat Fighting Knife/Bayonet Plastic Grips Bren Dan with USM8A1 Scabbard
US Combat Fighting Knife/Bayonet with Plastic Grips Bren Dan with USM8A1 Scabbard. Nice condition. Attachment levers work. Please check photo with cross guard. USM8A1 pwh scabbard - not quite as nice - but no cracks or gouges. The canvas hanger, keeper strap and snap are fine. It does have a piece of very old tape on front at throat (may be for a unit# which isnt there) -unable to remove. Bren Dan supposedly had financial problems and only delivered a few of their marked bayonets for the Vietnam war. They then went out of business, hence the lack of quality control. This item's blade - other than wear marks shown in photos -has an unfinished tip -barely noticeable but there. Less than 1/16th of tip is flat -see & study well the last 3 photos. Would be an easy fix, but we chose to leave as is. All original issue STUDY ALL photos carefully- they tell best- .postage. Not available at your local big box store.
