US Military ONTARIO KNIFE CO Machete with damaged Stemaco Sheath VINTAGE
This eBay listing is for a vintage US military machete that comes as you see pictured in the listing and noted above.   The machete itself is marked Ontario Knife Co and US.   The blade has surface rusting on both sides.   The handle is bakelite and is damage/chip/crack free.   The size of the machete is just over 23" long.   With the sheath is damaged and I believe is much newer than the machete itself.   It's marked US 1990 Stemaco and is made of plastic.   It has what appears to be slices in the plastic from where someone must have tested to see how sharp the blade is on the machete.   Seeing that the handle of the machete is bakelite plastic - I believe it's older and possible Vietnam to WWII era.   The sheath is plastic and is much newer than the machete itself.
