The knife is used, but well taken care of.  A very nice piece of history. I do not know the official date of manufacture of this blade. From what I read there were changes made between 1962 and 1963 to the handle and sheath design.
The blade does show some dings in the spine, edge is very sharp and in good shape. No rust or rust pitting in blade or blade edge. Blade has never put to a grinder!
Leather handle is in good shape with no wiggle or wobble.
There is no wiggle or wobble to the pommel, cross guard
Handle is original and was black when I got it several years ago after the owner had passed.
Handle has been cleaned and oiled with
    Obenauf's leather oil and paste.
The sheath is in very good well taken care of condition. It has been
    oiled with
Obenauf's leather oil and sealed with Obenauf's paste.
Knife has been stored indoors in a temperature controlled environment.
Knife has been stored outside of sheath, but will ship inside of sheath for safety.
Please ask questions if you have any of me.
Overall a very rare knife and one of the first run of a new era of Mk2 1219c2 knives.
