Custom gas tank does away with the stock fuel gauge and utilizes two right handed screw bungs to accept late style gas caps. Fuel capacity is 5.1 gallons.
Order gas caps separately. The tank uses a stock style FXDWG dash console. Tank is not for fuel injected Vtwins. Check the tank for flaws and fit before painting. It requires sanding and primer before painting. Do not grind or sand the seams or joints. Check the petcock opening making sure the petcock can be easily installed. The petcock should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of petcock. Clean the inside of the tank. It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean condition and seal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion.
