Vintage African Tribal Bronze Currency Bracelet. Well etched decorated

Welcome you are viewing a magnificent   Vintage Antique  African Tribal  Bronze   Bracelet.
This wonderful piece of art appeal to be made by the  Dogon people  which is   a powerful ethnic
group inhabiting central plateau  cultural region  of  Mali Country.
This  beauty   It's hand-cast  crafted  in alloy  hot bronze in the lost-wax casting
elegant primitive  having circular patterns at it's center  and   etched decoration with traces of
having been worn. probably by a small hand woman or child ...
it is Probably made around the latte  1800's or  early 1900's ( but not really  sure about age.)
This type of bracelets such as this  beauty were highly prized in Western Africa from 1600-1900.
it has a antique patina  and make of this kind of bracelet was indigenous to most western African tribes,
and was utilized not only as jewelry, but as  currency  or portable  shown of  wealth. ....
Measure  2.3/4   inches  across widest part    x  0.7/8 deep  x  2.1/2  inches Diameter (Inside hole )  it weight  8.3. OZ.
This beauty appeal to be in very good conations only has a very worn areas  other wise it has a very good patina...

actual weight and side or distance of the item.
