    Description

    Vintage Banjara brass bangle. There are some linear hash marks as well as two snakehead-like accents on the opening. I am not sure if this is a snake bracelet but it would not be uncommon. Inner circumference of 8". You need to slide this over your hand and onto your wrist. As a result, your hand circumference can be no larger than 8" around. I am not sure which Banjara tribe this belongs to, as there are many. Similar to the term "Kuchi/Kochi", the term "Banjara" refers to a nomadic way of life and not a particular tribe. The metal is a golden oxidized brass. This weighs 3 ounces - nice solid cuff.
