Vintage Chinese Brass-Handled Wedding Basket, Hand Painted with Lacquer Finish

This vintage Chinese wedding basket reflects charming details, including the hand painted florals and fruits surrounding the octagon sides, and the geometric designs along the bottom edges. Especially noteworthy is the cheerful figure who adorns the lid.  The bamboo handle includes a brass handle attached at the top, and there is woven wire around the bottom edge and lid for added support.  This basket, measuring approximately 8-1/2 inches across and about 10 inches in height, remains in wonderful, sturdy condition.  Please review all photos and note this item will be shipped to U.S. destinations only.
