Vintage Papier-mâché Dentist Tooth trade sign countertop display

Great antique papier-mâché tooth. Really sculptural. Not sure if it was a dentist counter top trade or display sign. “Stops Toothache” painted on one side. Hollow inside. May have been a “bowl” for dispensing some type of preventative medicine? Not sure. Light pencil writing on back. 7.5” h x 4.25” square. Excellent condition - might clean up even better, but I’ve left the original patina.
