Vintage Tribal Jewelry 12G Large Gauge Hoops 2.3mm (#8207)

Description

These lovely earrings are actually part of a larger piece that is used as hair adornment. Since they are missing the hair hooks, I decided to list them as earrings. However, they are LARGE GAUGE and are *****NOT A STANARD PIERCING***** These measure 2.12 mm or somewhere between 12g and 11 g, but closer to 12g. The hoops are .5" by .5". Each piece has a jhumka with jingling dangles. There are little flower buds that hang from the hoops and stylized khamsa markings as well. Gorgeous and authentic Kashmiri jewelry findings. The metal is aged and oxidized - similar to oxidized brass. A few of the round dangles are misshapen but they still make a sound with movement to ward off the evil eye. Each one weighs nearly 2 ounces/56g.
