Vintage Turkmen Figurative Pendant with Stamped Flower Markings (#7762)

Description

A lovely and unique vintage Turkmen (Turkoman) stylized figurative pendant. This one has several stamped flower markings on the body portion. This pendant is about 7.75" long by 1.75" wide - it's big for a pendant and would make a dramatic necklace focal. The five dangles make a sound with movement to ward off the evil eye. One of the dangles has a bit of discoloration on the front - visible in photos. The figure, called an, "adamlyk" is traditionally used on headdresses. You could use this for jewelry, textile arts, or for décor. This is an authentic vintage item with signs of age and wear. I show the pendant on the black cord for a size reference - the cord is not included in the purchase.
