Vintage US Jet Pilot Survival/Fighting Knife Sheath Stone Ontario 10-76

Description

Up for auction is this military pilots survival knife.  This is from the Ontario Knife Company and is dated October 1976.  Although this was issued after Vietnam, they were carried in US Military aircraft during Vietnam and for many years after, maybe even still carried today.
This is used but in very good shape and it is surprisingly sharp.  There is one small nick in the blade that I have shown in a photo.  The brass connectors on this sheath are covered in oxidation which is sometime called patina or verdigris and I have not cleaned it.  I think this knife was in storage for a long time.  The mark on the sharpening stone was made from the oxidation on the strap.  Both snaps work correctly.
