XS Small Vintage NW India Brass Bangle Snake Heads 7" Hand Size (#8592)

Description

Vintage brass bangle from NW India. Each end has a snake-like head, or perhaps the makara head - I'm not sure which. This has an inner circumference of 7". Your hand needs to be slightly smaller than 7" around in order for this to fit over your hand and onto your wrist. However, the opening to slide your wrist through (so you don't have to slide it over your hand) is about .75" - which may fit those who have very small wrists/hands. Vintage items are at least 20-years old but due to the way the metal has worn, I'd say this is closer to 70+ years-old. Someone wore this a long time! The metal is dark oxidized brass color. Not hollow - this is solid. Gorgeous piece of history!
